Indications
Recommended for use in hospitals by patients, healthcare providers and professionals and by others concerned about germs, such as new moms, to kill or render harmless virtually any microorganism, bacterial or viral, on potentially contaminated hard surfaces and objects. Use this lamp to kill the germs before coming into contact with any questionable surface or object. The application of germicidal UV light at the intensities delivered by our lamps has been tested and proven effective as an individual or supplemental method of deactivating/destroying germs without the use of chemical disinfectants. When used judiciously and as directed, this device will significantly improve infection control efforts in any setting where the spread of viable germs is a threat.

Directions
To deactivate/ render harmless or kill most germs on hard, non-porus surfaces and objects, hold DeGERM-inator 1-2 inches from the surface and scan entire area to be sanitized, allowing for an exposure time of 5-10 seconds of UV light over the entire surface. To purify an 8-12 ounce portion of clear drinking water, turn on the lamp and hold or place lamp directly over the water for 10-15 seconds then rotate lamp one quarter turn and shine the light into the water for another 10-15 seconds.
